Our Vision

It is my desire to see a church, which is centered and grounded, on the truth of God’s word.  The vision of a people who are planted by the rivers of God’s living water and will not be moved one jot or tittle from the teaching and doctrine of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  It is to be a church, which NEVER loses focus of who is the King of Glory and will not share it with another.

The vision is for a church, which is overflowing with fervent love of God.  It is to be a church where the praises of God continually and consistently reaches the throne of God and a church were the praises of God are just as natural to us as breathing!

I see a church where people of all colors, creeds and social economic levels are welcome and are a part of growing, vibrant, excited-about-Christ, church!

It is a church which is full of faithful and active members who function in the callings and anointing which God has placed on their lives for His glory.  We are a people, who reach out to the community to do whatever good we can do.  I foresee out reach in prisons,  hospitals, youth, houses, street ministries and whatever the Lord shall so assign to our hands.

I pray to see a church grow like the parable of the mustard seed in the scripture which started out very small but grows into a great tree!  It is a church where the gifts are in operation according to the will of God and signs and wonders are being performed, but God always gets the glory.

In one portion of scripture a question is asked, “When the son of man comes shall he find faith on earth?”  The answer will be, “Yes, I will find it in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Chapin”.
